About Nigel Maisey
Ask Nigel Maisey what is important to him as a top salesperson and he doesn’t even pause –
“Being honest and listening to my client’s needs” is his reply.
He is a man of his word. He is committed to making people smile and enjoy being in his company. It doesn't stop there. The ongoing support after a deal is done is an important part of his make-up. There are many questions when making a real estate transaction and Nigel is there to help anytime of the day or night.
Market trends change constantly and as part of his business he provides as much information on the current facts and figures. After many years working for a large corporate real estate firm (Harcourts), Nigel wanted to join a team that had similar values to his own, focusing on client service and reducing high commission fees whilst retaining the same level of exceptional service.
Nigel prides himself on the high level of repeat business and referrals he receives from past clients. Nigel believes life should be fun and must include a balance of successful work and relaxing play. Nigel is a keen road cyclist, golfer and fisherman, he also enjoys many other outdoor activities.
Nigel has a background in Residential Real Estate (23yrs) and has also been self-employed as a sheep farmer in South Canterbury. For three and a half years during the earthquakes in Canterbury, Nigel took time away from Real Estate and worked for CCC, CERA (Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority) and CCDU (Central Christchurch Development Unit). He felt he needed to take some time out to help with Cantabrians after the devastating earthquakes.
